We were deadly serious about the phytoplanktons under the electron microscope, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo with Dr. Jason Adolf (right) ...
... but we could only sit there for so long. A field trip provides both research samples and rejuvenation (left).
When we could not go to Hawaii, we would go to some state park for fossil hunting (right) ...
After a day of hard work in summer, pizza outside at the Knowledge Fountain seemed to be the perfect treat ...
From time to time, we go out for lunch so everybody gets re-energized (literally, and precisely by 536 calories per person on average) ...
Pittsburg was not only a great meeting place for the Great Lakes Bioinformatics Conference 2024 ...
... but also the place to enjoy the best Chinese food in a while, yummy! 😋
